BORIS

Quality and compliance are only as good as the record keeping and documentation which accompanies the installation process. Using the BORIS software package, our specialists can record and detail installations in real time, allowing all parties to carry remote quality inspections and providing a central point for access to all quality checks, health & safety information and handover documentation.

LPS 1531

PFP Ireland has been assessed to LPS 1531, the leading certification scheme for companies involved in the installation or application of passive fire protection products. As an LPS 1531 approved installation contractor, PFP Ireland can issue a Certificate of Conformity for each passive fire protection installation, as recommended in the Building Regulations ‘Approved Document Part B’.

Trident Compliance

PFP Ireland’s inspection and certification is supported by Trident Compliance, a fully independent passive fire protection consultancy specialising in fire compartmentation and structural fire protection. On a typical project the services provided by Trident in one or more elements of passive fire protection can include:

  • Examination of proposed fire compartmentation strategy
  • Examination of proposed specification for passive fire protection
  • Initial site meeting to review the above and propose any amendments
  • Input on possible solutions to fire protection issues
  • Initial inspection of works once commenced followed by written report highlighting areas of concern and non-compliance
  • Interim inspections of work followed by written report highlighting areas of concern and non-compliance
  • Final inspection of works on completion
  • Compilation of evidence file providing detailed audit trail for the project
