Description: 10-12 Hanover Quay is an alternative, distinctive type of office space in a central, docklands location, which has great waterfront views, a choice of entrances, and a variety of types of space including a roof terrace, large open plan areas within the warehouse, and more compact floor plates within the new glass box. It is an excellent example of how historic fabric can be retained and reused in a sensitive and imaginative way, forming part of a contemporary project, while contributing to the sense of place and the industrial aesthetic of the docklands. Description: Lidl Ireland have extended their regional distribution centre in Mullingar, Co Westmeath. Building on the retailer’s sustainable building credentials, the project incorporates 25,000sq m of new cold rooms cooled by natural refrigerants, a state-of-the-art refrigeration heat-recovery system providing heating to the warehouse, and a pollinator-friendly area with wildflower planting to promote local biodiversity. It will make it one making it one of the largest buildings in the country.

Description: The Distillers Building has a net floor area of 18,501 sq.m. and ranges in height between four and eight storeys. It is located above a double basement with 47 car parking spaces, 188 bicycle spaces and comprehensive shower and changing facilities. Floors one to seven offer large light-filled floorplates around a central access core. This allows for flexible office configurations which can be tailored to suit tenants’ needs. At roof level, there are terraces accessible from the fifth, sixth and seventh floors.

Description: The project consisted of 68 Apartments and 5700m of office space with 4 large retail units at the bottom facing the water. The project was built on the footprint of the old Gas works yard and resulted in 50,000 tonnes of contaminated soil being shipped to Germany for treatment from the excavation of the basement. This involved a complicated waterproofing exercise to avoid the existing contaminated water on site getting into the canal adjacent to the building. The project also consisted of a full landscaped courtyard and individual roof gardens on each building to highlight its location.

Description: Terminal 2, the new passenger terminal for Dublin Airport, opened in November 2010. This three-storey curvilinear building sits astride the main access road to Terminal One.
The T2 project included a new terminal building and a new departures gate area called Pier E, as well as a new energy efficient power plant. All departing passengers pass through an enlarged security screening area and into a spacious new departures lounge. Here they have access to new shops, cafes and restaurants.
